Unit 1 - Foot Tactics

1.  Differentiate between and deal with aggressive/non aggressive subjects
2. Carry out foot formations in a hostile environment
3. Adopt multiple firing positions and stances and shoot from cover
4. Extract and support someone in danger
5. React to attacks from different areas
6. Demonstrate the ability to provide body cover to a VIP
7. Disable armed aggressors and how to retain a weapon

Unit 2 - Weapon Tactics

1. Weapon Tactics
2. Use a weapon safely
3. Maintain a weapon system
4. Complete firing techniques at:

• long range
• close range
• multiple targets

5. Carry out tactical reloads
6. Give body cover to a VIP whilst firing

Unit 3 - Carbine Tactics

1. Use a weapon safely
2. Maintain a weapon system
3. Complete firing techniques: long range, close range, from behind cover
4. Fire from alternative firing positions
5. Tactically withdraw from contact
6. Carry out tactical reloads
7. Switch from a primary to a secondary weapon

1-Day AHA HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED

• The roles and responsibilities of a first aider
• Assessing an emergency situation safely
  CPR and AED
• Administering first aid to a choking casualty
• Dealing with massive hemorrhages
• Dealing with shock, burns, scalds, bleeds and minor injuries
• Dealing with sudden poisoning or an anaphylaxis
  Dealing with casualties with fractures, and spinal, head or chest injuries
• Dealing with heart attacks, strokes, and other major illnesses
• Triage, Evacuation Priorities

Learners must complete First Aid training before starting the close protection training.
